【Jun & Chiei Bandoneon & Guitar Duet @ Tanguísimo Classic Milonga】

About Jun Hayakawa...
Born in 1980. Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Musicology Course. Jun is the leader of Tango-Jack, a band that explores new potentials of tango music. He learned the bandoneón from Ryota Komatsu and Miguel Varvello. In 2002, joined the Bellows Lovers Project headed by accordionist Coba. In 2003 and 2005, he toured four South American countries including Argentina and Brazil as a member of Ryota Komatsu and Orquesta Típica. In 2003 and 2004, he played alongside tango legends such as Leopoldo Federico, Osvaldo
Berlingieri, and Maria Graña on their Japan tour. Jun's activities are not bound to the tango world, as he has been playing regular concerts with the Shin-Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra. From 2008, he has also participated in "Naruyoshi Kikuchi
et Pepe Tormento Azcarar", a unique orchestra that combines jazz and Latin lounge sounds. He has also made multiple recordings for commercials, television programs, and music software. Recently, he has participated in recordings of Masako Mori's CD "Anokoro" (Back Then), commercial for MAXFACTOR SK-II, MENARD, NHK language programs, "Little Charo". In 2009, Hayakawa's leading band "Tango-Jack" performed concert solely in Hong Kong. In 2010, Hayakawa’s solo concert in Hong Kong, among others. His passionate and unrestrained play style attracts interest from various fields, and Jun is known for his energetic performances.

About Chiei Kobayashi...
Born in Japan, Saitama prefecture, in 1980. Chiei has been playing Folklore, Southern American music, since he was juvenile. He started playing the guitar when he was nine-years-old. Then he gradually moved his focus on Flamenco, and studied under Hideo Suzuki. Chiei moved to Spain after graduating university, becoming a Benjamin Habichuela's pupil, and Chiei performed in Festivals and live houses around Majorca island. Chiei rendered his music around Tokyo after coming back to Japan in 2008, and released his first album "Wonder Wind." Chiei also became a member of a band with Oki Jin, who won Spanish Flamenco competition, and accompanied his live tour, Fuji Rock Festival 2008, and TV shows. In 2009, Chiei rendered with Alfredo Casero, Argentinian artist, in 10 Tango Festival. Chiei participated American Tango event in 2010. In 2011, He moved to Argentina, and rendered in Argentinian Festival with Juan Carlos Carabajal, Forklore musician. Chiei participated in more than fifteen albums and DVDs, mostly Flamenco, and is rendering over 100 times in Japanese concert halls and live houses recently, including Oki Jin's lead assistant guitar in his live tour. Chiei is very popular for his aggressive and passionate performance despite his calm and quiet appearance, and he is making his unique music based on his variety of ethical music background.

【Live Bandoneon & Guitar Concert by Juan Pablo Jofre & Bruce Peng @ Tanguisimo Practilonga】

Winner of the National Arts Grant in Buenos Aires Argentina, one of the true young masters of the bandoneon, composer JP Jofre has been getting the attention of the international press and captivated audiences at the recent Heineken Jazz Festival in Puerto Rico, where he played alongside such star Paquito D’Rivera Reviera news have also noted JP Jofre’s exquisite abilities as a player of tango’s quintessential instrument: the bandoneon.
Mr Jofre has performed arranged and composed for several orchestras such as the Westchester Jazz Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra. of San Juan Argentina, the Manhattan Camerata, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Paquito D' Rivera Sextet and many others. His skills as a performer have earned Mr. Jofre Argentina’s highly competitive National Arts Grant to study with legendary Astor Piazzolla’s Sextet bandoneon player, Julio Pane in Buenos Aires.
